We take parasites very seriously.
  • Our adult dogs are dewormed frequently, puppies every three months until a year old.
  • Breeding moms and dads are dewormed before breeding as well, and at least every 6 months.
  • Moms are dewormed near the end of pregnancy to decrease any potential load for newborns, and then they are dewormed on the same strict schedule that our Veterinarian has suggested for our dogs/puppies.
In all our years of breeding we have only seen worms in our dogs once (when we lived on a 50 acre ranch).  That doesn't mean they never have any, but they definitely benefit from our regular deworming regiment.

Take a few minutes to read through the most common types of canine parasites below and educate yourself.
