This is the shampoo we have used for years. It smells great, keeps skin healthy and soft, and repels fleas, ticks, and biting flies. We love it here. We dilute the shampoo in water, a 10:1 ratio.

For those days you have a stinky dog and just don't have time for a full bath. We have used the Lavender Coconut and Blueberry Scents they are both great and last for days. Not masking the smell, but cleaning without water.

Great facial cleaner for keeping faces white and removing tear stains. Use during bath time (or min face bath) leave on for 3 minutes and rinse off.

This clipper is our go-to. We have used this clipper for 10+ years without replacing. There are many on the market if you want to groom your dog.

This pin brush is our go-to brush for daily brushing of our adults. I love that the pins are tipped so it's not scratchy to the skin.

Dematting tool - very sharp tool for gently cutting out mats from your dog without hurting them.

Drying Mit - we use this by our back door - for drying off feet after a walk or wet outdoor trip. Handy for those rainy or muddy days.

We like to use a flea comb to comb under the eye to remove any debris and help keep the area clear of mats. Just be careful with the whiskers - they can get caught in the smallest teeth.

Renu Advanced Formula or any contact soution with boric acid can help keep under the eye area clean and helps whiten staining. We use this formula daily.

Soft cotton pads like these are used with our Renu Advanced Formula contact solution.

We keep a small container with a lid that holds a few day's worth of pads saturated with Renu.

This is an amazing product that will help your dog's ears if you find that they are prone to yeast in the ears.

We use this at the first sign of redness, irritation, or discomfort in the ears. It can help head off an ear infection or treat a mild irritation in the ear. As always, seek the help of your vet if the condition gets worse.

This solution is a little bit stronger and helps control inflammation in the ear.

One of the best ways to help your dog/puppy - is to regularly deworm. Every 6 months your dog should be dewormed and at least annually you should have your vet do a fecal test.

These are a wonderful training treat. They are soft and small. I often break them into 2-3 pieces for small puppies.

Brushing your dog's teeth will help keep their mouth in better shape for the long-run. Starting early to establish a routine for brushing will be the best plan. This is by far, the best toothbrush we have found. It cleans all the surfaces of the tooth at the same time.

We use 1/2 probiotic chew per day for optimal gut health.

These are an absolute favorite of the puppies and adults. They wash easily and are so comfy.

We love these crate pads. You can get the small size which fits right into the 24" crate, or the medium size which creates a cozy pocket for smaller pups. We have both and use them all. They stay fluffy wash after wash.

A pen will provide a puppy safe area if there are times you cannot watch your puppy like a hawk ;) ...but your puppy should NOT spend excessive amounts of time in the puppy safe area. We love our pens with a door. then you don't have to lift puppy in and out every time.

This is a light weight option with a convenient door. Sometimes the door panels are offered separately if you already have a 4-panel set.

We have an enclosure like this as well. It is sturdy and your puppy will not be able to change the shape of the pen by pushing on the panels. The hinges lock into place.

We love our retractable gate. It works smoothly and is easy to operate. We have this at the top of our main floor stairs.

This is the Choco Nose water bottle we prefer to use. It does not drip and is easy to wash. You can add a larger bottle if desired. (we add 30 oz. glass bottles for our adults) Using a water bottle helps avoid unnecessary wetness on your puppy's beard and helps avoid puddles of water on the floor from a dripping beard. Don't forget to wash daily.

We only use and recommend stainless steel bowls. All other types of bowls can still harbor bacteria even after being run through the dishwasher. Short-sided stainless steel bowls are great for our short-faced breed. Our puppies learn to start eating their wet mush from this low sided bowl to make it easier for them. Our adults eat from this bowl as well.

We love to use bowls like this for young puppies that are clumsy and frequently step in or trip over their bowls. Dishwasher safe stainless bowls are a bonus - with no exposed screws sticking out!

These non slip bowls are stainless steel. Our puppies eat their dry kibble from this type of bowl with a slightly deeper side. This helps them walk through their food bowl less. These can be used for water too if you're not using a pet water bottle.

These are three of the best teething toys I have. They provide lots of good entertainment and are light enough for the tiniest of puppies carry them around.

Our puppies love these Benebones. They really need some major chewing time as they continue to teethe.

Strings, ribbons, and tags are all favorite options for Shih Tzu. Crinkle fabrics and squeakers are a bonus.

These are a favorite of my pack. They have squeakers and some have crinkle fabric too. Just watch as they age that the 'fur' isn't getting trapped between the dog's teeth.

I dont know what it is about these ducks, but they are one of the most favorite toys of all ages. Sometimes we have to put it into time-out because they keep stealing it from each other. ;0)

These toys each have a squeaker and can be hidden in the carrot, providing mental stimulation as your pup tries to figure out how to get the rabbits out. You can also just get the rabbits only.

These squeaky balls are a great addition. Soft and easily manipulated by the smallest mouths.

Our puppies enjoy chasing this toy to get an occasional kibble treat. It is a great brain game.

We really love the Snuggle puppy junior. This stuffie has a pocket that can hold an electronic heartbeat device. This really comforts puppies!

If you already have a stuffie with a pocket, then you can just get the replacement heartbeat unit. I wouldn't recommend using this without a stuffie because puppy will find it and chew it.

We use and love our Wyze cameras. They can be set up inside or outside, have night vision, can zoom in, can swivel, and there's no subscription. Best way to watch your pet when you're away from home!

Snuffle mats are a great mental stimulation for your puppy/dog.

If you are setting up a puppy safe area and need something to protect your carpet or other flooring - these are my ultimate favorite! They are waterproof non-slip backing, washable, absorbent, and soft. Get a couple to trade out and you'll be set. Seriously - my favorite!

Our puppies love their tunnel playtime! It washes and dries well and holds up to a lot of rough play!

Lick mats are wonderful mental stimulation and a soothing activity that grounds your dog. We use many things like almond butter, sour cream, plain yogurt, and canned dog food for our adults. Until a year old we only use ground up puppy food with a tiny bit of canned dog food (mixed with water) to avoid upset puppy tummies.

Small, non-slip, silicone, food/water mat. This really helps contain spills and messes.

when puppies are 3 weeks - 6 weeks old they use these trays so they don't fall through the grate. They hold a potty pad and a few pellets. The lid snaps on tight and cannot be tipped by puppies. Puppies cannot get to the potty pad - so no shredding!

We use these potty pads in our potty boxes and trays. A half pad in either tray so that they fit and don't hang out for puppies to grab and shred.

This is the grate we use for our potty area. It is easily washed and sanitized. We add 1" PVC to the edges so it is raised just a bit off of the tray underneath.

This tray holds the potty pad and pellets we use. It is easy to keep clean and easily dumps right into a kitchen sized garbage sack.

We use animal bedding pellets or wood pellets meant for burning. You don't need to use this brand, but make sure there are no additives - hardwood or pine work best. They break down into sawadist when wet and help control the odor.
